Theatre

Winchester Stage Company

Monday 6.30-8.30pm - Drama
at The Stripe Studio 2 at University of Winchester

Wednesday 6.30-8.30pm Drama
at West Side Lecture Theatre, Winchester School of Art

The stage company consists of approximately 32 performers who have a learning disability.

The company produces two major public shows every year that are usually based on ‘classic’ texts, including Shakespeare plays. Both our summer and winter productions are now staged at Theatre Royal Winchester and are fully supported by professional, and highly experienced, artistic and technical teams.

We strongly believe that creating inclusive theatre is important in building bridges of understanding and respect between different community groups.

Classes follow the school academic term and take place weekly. There is not usually a half term.
